ClimaCast is a Product Prototype for a device that provides live weather updates in a way that is designed to be a atheistically pleasing addition to the home.
I co-led a team of 14 classmates in product design, development, and marketing for the ClimaCast project. Working with the team, we designed, laser cut and programmed the device, which was run on a Raspberry Pi. The team also created design documents, logos, mockups, 3D renderings, plus a website, Kickstarter (unpublished) and promotional video for this project. The website is still up and running, and can be viewed here. The promotional video can be seen below.
My main contributions, in addition to project management, was in programming the Raspberry Pi to send images to a LED matrix to display the current weather.
