This group project was completed for New Media 200 in the fall of 2014. In presentation it was projection-mapped onto the back of a Mac laptop. I was responsible for the concept and musical scoring. Each member completed an eight-second vignette. Mine is the third – the New York skyline trace.
The goal of this project was to explore introductory projection mapping techniques.
This arrangement of John Gorka’s single When She Kisses Me was made using Noteflight, an open-source cloud-based music suite. The arrangement score can be found here.
This Scratch game was a group project for the midpoint of our Scratch unit in New Media 102. I handled coding and the .gif reels. The sprite costumes never got finished, but the game mechanics are complete. In order to play you will need a computer with a camera and a microphone. Scratch may ask your permission to use these devices, so look for a popup at the top of your browser.
My favorite part of New Media is applying my new-found skills in the real world. We learned to use Scratch in New Media 102, but the Scratch project I’m most proud of is a Valentine’s Day E-card I made for my girlfriend. Take a look!
