The Wolf and The Dragon WIP Trailer
This was a fun solo project for a contest I found on the web. there were many options to choose from and when I picked I found the instructions were very basic: make a movie trailer. I tried my hand at an animated trailer. Unfortunately I discovered the contest a late in the game so I was not able to meet the deadline. Perhaps I can refine this later for something else.
An animatic created for a project that required a story involving a character named Sydney, a tube of lipstick, and the quote “I told you this would happen.” Another challenge to this project was that everything had to be finished within the span of six hours. The artwork took four hours to make and the voicing and editing took the other two.
My first minute long animation. I had received a spontaneous request to animate something like this. I found it an interesting idea and rolled with it. Unfortunately I had yet to figure out the secrets of screen resolution at the time.
Fight Animation for a YouTuber
This short animation was for a sort of contest. A YouTuber working on her own animated version of the “Warriors” series requested animators to create their own animation of fighting cats. The best were included in the next episode where a battle took place. This was one of those chosen to be featured.
Documentation of a simple projection mapping project and the process in which it was made. The group decided to project on three surfaces of a white box. Each surface is meant to show the same character in a new dimension.
KFI Animation WIP
A work in progress video of my final project. I intend to create a short animation film revolving around a story created by the group of adults with cognitive disabilities attending an “Independent Living class” for KFI ( Katahdin friends Inc.).
A short animation film revolving around a story created by the group of adults with cognitive disabilities attending an “Independent Living class” for KFI ( Katahdin friends Inc.). I call it “A very Strange Day” as that is what the story illustrates. The Independent Living class is intended to help adults with cognitive disabilities work on on certain everyday skills. The exercise that created this story was a matter of collaboration, practicing to work together with others. They each took turns telling their own part of the story every new entry adding to the bizarre medley of the character’s day. Making this simple story into a full animation is intended to inspire these adults with what they own ideas can lead to.
